Keep your motivation high even when you’re not cycling outdoors with the Road To Nove Colli: a comprehensive training plan of ready-to-use workout sessions on the My E-Training app to help you organize your autumn preparation and get ready for the next Granfondo.

WORKOUTS

  • The Road to Nove Colli workouts are available to all users who are subscribed to the Elite My E-Training app.
  • The program consists of 21 sessions based on FTP, time, and cadence.
  • Simply input or measure your FTP-60 directly on the app, which represents the maximum power you can sustain for 60 minutes. The app will automatically customize your sessions and adapt the training to your fitness level and goals.

PREPARATION

01. OBJECTIVES

The goal is to prepare you for the Granfondo Nove Colli through a series of structured training sessions aimed at improving aerobic endurance, FTP, and aerobic power – the three essential capacities that will enable you to meet the demands of the course.

02. TOOLS

Behind this program lies a meticulous study of the altimetric profile of the nine hills in Cesenatico.

Among the key skills to work on, endurance plays a prominent role, along with muscular strength training required to tackle uphill sections with gradients exceeding 10-12% and even reaching peaks of 16-18% on climbs like Barbotto, Monte Tiffi, and Sogliano.

03. TARGET AUDIENCE

04. TIMING

Whenever you prefer. The convenience of indoor cycling allows you to train at any time. We recommend starting your training in autumn, 2 or 3 times a week, alternating training days with one or two rest days.
